He graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatre and Film Arts "Krastyo Sarafov" in 1984 in the class of Prof. Krikor Azaryan. He has worked at the State Theatre-Slivn, the Theatre Workshop "Sfumato", the State Travelling Theatre, and the First Private Theatre "La Strada". He made his debut in the role of Belogubov in "A Profitable Position" by A. N. Ostrovsky on the stage of the Drama Theatre-Slivn. He has toured at Theatre 199 and the State Satirical Theatre "Aleko Konstantinov". Among his roles are: George in "Sunshine with Thunder" by Ken Ludwig at the Small City Theatre "Behind the Canal", Yossarian in "Catch-22" by Joseph Heller, The Old Man in "The Old Man and the Arrow" by Nikola Rusev, Razplyuev in "The Merry Days of the Razplyuevs" by A. Sukhovo-Kobylin at Theatre 199. Since 1997 he has been part of the troupe of the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov", where he debuted with the role of Kyrleza in "The Lower Depths" by Maxim Gorky.
