Witness for the Prosecution

London in the 1920s. Wealthy Emily French is brutally murdered, and all evidence points to Leonard Vole – a young charmer to whom the elderly lady left her vast fortune. Accused of murder, Leonard is convinced that his partner – the mysterious variety dancer Romaine – can prove his innocence. But what happens when the defendant's wife takes the stand? "Witness for the Prosecution" is a play adapted by Agatha Christie from her 1925 short story "The Hands of the Traitor," with numerous stage and film interpretations. Stoyan Radev – one of the most distinguished directors on the Bulgarian theatrical scene, turns to one of the Queen of Crime's most intriguing plots, and together with the troupe of the Varna Drama Theatre creates a production that captivates attention from beginning to end.
