Romeo and Juliet

The Plovdiv Drama Theatre has the pleasure of telling a modern fairy tale about the path of great love, winding through the jagged rocks and gentle fields of human fate. Fragments of wild desires and colorful darkness will come alive on stage, gathered into a magical puzzle. The play is a beautiful carousel of passion, a whirlpool of dreams and feelings, in whose vortex Shakespeare's great lovers are eternally alive despite death. An unexpected performance, like a headlong plunge to the bottom of the human soul, where love is the only reality. Love dies and there is nothing more sad than that... Love is a projection - our own film that we project onto the white screen, which has taken the shape of the person we desire. Love is a wild staring at non-existent horizons, dyed with the blood of the sacrifice called devotion. Love is the secret garden where the flowers of ecstasy feed on the flesh of the dead who fell in battle for closeness. Love is the tragic death of the real - what a huge longing everywhere!... Love is the epic dying of the ego - you dissolve into the other and you are gone! Love dies and there is nothing more sad than that, because after its death life begins. Life after the death of love is an endless requiem, endless weeping, endless wailing against the death of light. – Stanko Murdzhev **REVIEWS** "Thank you for this magical, wonderful and true love from art to perfection that you gave us tonight.
