Loot

The paradoxes and absurdity in this play are more credible than everyday reality. Originally written as a "comedy of manners," Joe Orton's play is actually a brilliant socio-political tragicomic farce with criminal-sentimental nuances, featuring an exceptional sense of humor, depths, and insights that can make you burst out laughing but also shed no small number of tears. The production, created in the exceptionally modern style "neodecadence," presents an absurd, laughably sad reality. A dangerously funny tale of total decay and moral-economic ruin, presented, thank God, with an incredible sense of humor.
