Two Naked Men

What happens when a wife unexpectedly returns home? After the sight she finds, everyone is in shock. No one has any idea how or why they ended up in this situation, and despite their efforts, recovering the truth slips further and further away from them. But where is the truth? Are the "Germans" to blame, is it Voodoo magic, or is it part of someone's devilish plan? Critics call Sébastien Thiéry's plays "elegant boulevard theater" and compare them to the works of Ionesco and Beckett. The amusing dialogues and jokes on the edge of decency sometimes cross the line, but with surprisingly serious themes. Combining vaudeville and comedy with the theater of the absurd, "Two Naked Men" becomes a sensation at Paris's Théâtre de la Madeleine, and in 2015 it was nominated for the Molière Award.
