About the show

Dreadnoughts? What are dreadnoughts? And why for a female audience? Because... When a person wants to talk about the most important thing, about the deepest feelings, they encounter great difficulties. And they say "dreadnoughts" or something else, just as incomprehensible. Yet they want to utter words of love, they want to paint a beautiful picture, they want a horizon, they want the sea... Well, alright - dreadnoughts are ships, huge warships. And within them fits the unspoken love, the sorrow that it cannot be spoken, and the heroism in this lost battle on the naval, i.e., the love front. Why heroism? Because a person is still ready to give everything of themselves, even if sometimes it doesn't seem so, and all they truly have is just a paper boat. In our case, a man invites a female audience to talk with him in a way he fails to do with his own wife. He does not complain, he does not seek male support; he hopes for female understanding. If men happen to be present at the conversation, they will surely feel involved, and it will please them that someone is sharing their problems. We hope it will also please the women. They will laugh and be moved by the encounter with this man. And may they later convey his message to his wife, so that one day when he speaks to her about "dreadnoughts," she hears "I love you." The audience will hear this. Stoyan Radev
