Ladies Are Invited

"Do you know you have terrible eyes?!" From here begins a story that we all know. One of the most beloved Bulgarian stories comes to life on the theatrical stage for the first time. "Ladies Are Invited" – a cult title that is being staged for the first time in its history, based on the emblematic novel by Georgi Mishev, combines fine humor, warm melancholy, and painfully accurate observations on love, loneliness, and human illusions, meeting the audience in a live theatrical experience. This is not just a transfer of a familiar title. It is an encounter with those lines that have long become part of our language, our sense of humor, and the way we look at love – slightly naively, sometimes slightly desperately, always with a smile and hope: "You will be silent! When you speak to me, you will be silent!" "Five kilometers further, five kilometers back – I've torn apart an entire wagon full of passengers..." All these words, familiar, beloved, quoted for years, will sound again – but this time in the eyes of living actors, in the silence of the hall, in the laughter that starts from nostalgia and reaches today.
