The Father

"The Father" by French playwright Florian Zeller is an absolute hit on the stages of New York, Paris, Berlin and London. The virtuoso plot immerses the main character Andre in a world of branching identities. Before the audience, the labyrinth of human memories and emotions constantly complicates its codes, moves its exits with the tension and atmosphere of an exciting thriller and absurd comic situations. With each act, Anna, Pierre, Laura, the Woman and the Man embark on unknown orbits, change their biographies, and present new versions of what is happening around them. Thus, in Andre's apartment, uncertainty slowly accumulates until the surprising truth explodes at the finale. ASKEER Award 2019 for Direction by Diana Dobрева.
