2084. REX

An explosive combination of humor, drama and sarcasm is the play "2084. REX. The Last King of the World" by Kiril Fokin. The ironic anti-utopia sends us to the near future of 2084 – a world in which humanity has achieved universal happiness. The beginning of this new order is set by Livein Kaplan, a 130-year-old, perfectly preserved and guarded Rex Regis (King of Kings). Thanks to him, humanity lives in a world without states, without media, without hunger. But are all ready to pay the price of a utopian society? And how will the all-powerful King of the World cope with the grumpy android Sam, who does everything possible to prevent him from dying? "2084. REX" is a bold and provocative play about the future that will leave a mark on the present. The main role of Livein Kaplan is played by Malin Krastev, and in the role of the android Sam is Boris Krastev. The spectacularly mixes dreams with reality and is the work of Dejan Projkovski - leading director from North Macedonia, touring various theaters in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
