About

Born in 1977 in the city of Sliven. Graduated in acting from NATFIZ "Krastyo Sarafov" in 2001 in the class of Prof. Encho Halachev. He began his theatrical career as an actor. He made his professional stage debut with the role of Dromio of Ephesus in William Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors", directed by Al. Berovski, at the Drama Theatre "Sava Ognyanov" in Ruse. This was followed by his roles as Ilyiko in "Attempt to Fly" by Yordan Radichkov, directed by Al. Berovski; the Lover in "The Predestined" by Elias Canetti, directed by Elena Panayotova, and others. In 2005, he staged his first directorial work, "With a Scent of Honey" by Aziz Nesin at the Drama Theatre "Nazim Hikmet" in Razgrad, while simultaneously continuing his acting career at the Drama Theatre "Anton Strashimirov". There he performed in the productions "At the Foot of Vitosha" by Peyo Yavorov as Khristoforov, and "Yerma" by F. G. Lorca as Juan, directed by Bilyana Petrova. In 2007, he returned to Sliven and joined the Drama Theatre "Stefan Kirilov". Here he participated in the plays "Left of the Elevator" by Gerard Loasie, "The Iron Lamp - The Love of Katerina" based on Dimitar Talev, directed by Stanko Murdjev, "Little Comedies" based on A. P. Chekhov, directed by Dimitar Markov, "New Bible - Uproar" by Yordan Radichkov, directed by Prof. Margarita Mladenova, "Old Warlords" based on Balcho Neykov, directed by Prof. Plamen Markov, "Oedipus Rex" by Sophocles, directed by Bilyana Petrova, "The Truth" by Florian Zeller, directed by Borislav Chakrinov, and others. In 2017, he specialized at NATFIZ "Krastyo Sarafov" in "Directing for Dramatic Theatre" under Prof. Plamen Markov. His diploma performance based on the texts of Andrey Platonov, "Semyon" and "Osminka", was realized on the Sliven stage.
